K is for Knowledgeable

K is for knowledgeable

Being knowledgeable is one of the keys to our culture and is the K in FRANK. To us being knowledgeable is important to bring to our clients and to each other as a team. One of the items we want to be knowledgeable about is the best accounting technology solutions for our clients. This allows us the opportunity to provide the best solutions to meet each individual client’s needs.

One way we like to keep our technology knowledge up is by getting our staff certified in accounting software. Not only is our staff QuickBooks Online Certified but we also have staff members that are Sage Intacct Certified Accountants. We also have members of our staff who are assigned to be experts on all of the software we use including Bill.com, Expensify, etc. By doing this we can keep up with all of the changes within each software and share it with each other.

Another example of technology knowledge we have is by being a Sage Intacct Accounting Partner (SIAP). What does that mean? As an SIAP partner we can provide our clients with Sage Intacct software without them having to purchase it. When your business has outgrown QuickBooks, or you have multiple entities that need more advance reporting, that is when you need a more advance software. But buying a new software is expensive. By being an SIAP partner we are able to put our clients in the Sage Intacct software and provide our accounting services without them having to purchase the software directly. This provides a huge cost and time savings to our clients. We like to bring our knowledge to our clients by being able to recommend what software works best for them. We never want our clients to be using something that doesn’t meet their needs. Our accountants can recommend technology driven solutions that work for each business.

Being knowledgeable is so important to us. We want our clients to be confident in our recommendations, which is why keeping up on our technology knowledge is so important.

I'm an experienced finance professional with more than 20 years of experience. I've held several Controller positions throughout my career, most notably with an internationally respected commercial real estate investment, management, and brokerage firm. In this role, I was responsible for all aspects of accounting across the company's many operational divisions - including internet services, real estate development, property management, and brokerage services. As our company operated in multiple countries and currencies, it was essential to me that all financial reports were accurate and compliant.
